Platiga Technology Private Limited
Privacy Policy
Effective 5 November 2026
This policy explains how Platiga Technology Private Limited ("Plotch.ai", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit plotch.ai, use Groclake, Nutane or other Plotch.ai products and services (the "Services"), or interact with our pages and messages on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and LinkedIn. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.
1. Who is responsible
Platiga Technology Private Limited is the data fiduciary for personal data we collect for our own purposes, such as our websites, marketing and your account with us.
When a business uses the Services to process data about its own users, candidates, customers or employees, that business decides why and how the data is used, and we process it on its behalf under our agreement with it. If you are such a person, please contact that business first; we will help it respond.
2. What we collect
- Account and contact details: name, email address, phone number, organisation and role, and sign-in records.
- Content you give us: messages, files, documents and instructions you send through the Services, support requests and forms.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type, and logs needed to keep the Services secure.
- Cookies and similar technologies: for sign-in, security and, with your consent, analytics (Google Analytics). You can change your choice in the cookie banner at any time.
- Data from social and messaging platforms: when you interact with our Facebook Page, Instagram account, WhatsApp number or ads, we receive what those platforms share with us, such as your public profile name, your messages to us, your comments and reactions, and, for lead forms you choose to submit, the details you enter. We receive aggregated ad and page statistics that do not identify you.
- WhatsApp: your phone number, the messages you exchange with us and their delivery and read status.
3. Why we use it
- To provide, operate and secure the Services and your account.
- To answer your questions and give support.
- To send service messages, such as sign-in codes, alerts and updates you asked for, by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To send marketing messages only where you have agreed to receive them. You can stop them at any time: reply STOP on WhatsApp, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or write to us.
- To publish and measure our own posts and ads on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
- To improve the Services, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, or for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as providing a service you asked for or complying with the law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing already done.
4. AI features
Some features use AI models from third-party providers to read, summarise or answer questions about content you choose to send. We send only what the feature needs, we do not let these providers use your content to train their models where the provider offers that choice, and actions with real-world effect, such as sending messages or spending money, need a person's approval.
5. Who we share it with
- Service providers that host or run parts of the Services for us, such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), AI model providers, email and SMS delivery, and analytics. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and LinkedIn, when we publish content, run ads or exchange messages with you on their platforms. Their own privacy policies apply to what they do with data.
- The business that uses the Services, for data processed on its behalf.
- Authorities, where the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of you, us or others.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised or sold, under the same protections.
We do not sell personal data.
6. Where it is stored
Data is stored mainly in India. Some service providers may process data in other countries; when they do, we use providers that protect it to standards at least as strong as this policy and as permitted by Indian law.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised within 90 days after it is closed, except records we must keep by law. Logs are kept for a limited period for security.
8. How we protect it
We use encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive data, access controls by role and account, audit logs, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
9. Your rights
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update it.
- Ask us to delete it (see our Data Deletion page).
- Withdraw consent you have given.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
- Raise a grievance with us, and if not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To use these rights, write to support@plotch.ai. We will reply within 30 days.
10. Children
The Services are not meant for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian; if we learn we have, we will delete it.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with its effective date, and tell you directly about important changes.
